Meet Jess

The systems person who actually gets how your brain works.
I didn’t exactly grow up dreaming about workflows and automations (I mean… who does, honestly?!).
But it turns out I have a thing for figuring out where things could be easier - and figuring out how to make that happen without over-complicating everything.
I’m the person who notices when something feels harder than it needs to be.
The one quietly thinking, “There’s a better way to do this.”
Systems that fit how you think.
Support that actually helps.
Before Shine Bright Virtual, I worked in environments where clarity really mattered - public safety, government contracting, and helping open a second business location from across the country. If something wasn’t clear, organized, or documented, things didn’t just feel messy… they failed. Fast.
That kind of environment teaches you real quick how important clear systems actually are.
So I became the person who made sure things actually worked. By building processes, templates, and systems people could rely on - without having to think about them constantly.
When I started my own handmade home decor business, I thought I was prepared.
I had systems experience. I knew how important organization was. I had tools.
And yet… everything still felt harder than I expected.
My brain was juggling everything...
orders, inventory, emails, ideas, deadlines, “don’t forget this” notes scribbled on post-it's everywhere.
I knew what needed to happen… but keeping it all straight day after day was exhausting.
And that’s when I realized something important:
I wasn’t doing anything wrong... I was just trying to force my brain into other people’s systems.
I was following templates, workflows, and advice from experts that looked great on paper… but felt like a mess in real life.
I didn't need more tools. I didn't need a complicated setup. I just needed systems that actually made sense in my head. Once I stopped copying others and started building things my own way, everything felt clearer. More manageable. Less overwhelming.
That's when I realized - this is what I'm meant to help people with. Now, I help creative business owners figure out what's not working behind the scenes and rebuild systems that actually fit how they think - not how someone else's template says they should.

Because if we’re going to work together, you should probably know who you’re actually talking to.
A few things about me that have absolutely nothing to do with systems:
You’ll more than likely see them on calls.
They’re not especially helpful, but they’re always around to say hi.

This is what ‘behind the scenes’ actually looks like
